What makes InTuition different from other tutoring services?

All our tutors are P.A.C.E. trained (standing for Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity & Empathy)  and have vast experience in supporting pupils who for one reason or another are finding mainstream schooling difficult or sometimes impossible.  By incorporating P.A.C.E. principles into our tutoring we've transformed the lives of countless young people, most are empowered so that they can return back securely into their school environment, whilst others are supported whilst their school find them a better fit alternative provision.

Tailored lessons that perfectly suit individual needs and learning styles.

At Intuition, we celebrate the individuality of every young person we work with, recognizing that everyone has unique talents and passions. Our mission is to discover what excites each student—whether it’s exploring the aerodynamics of kittens, launching custom rockets, building innovative robots, or designing stunning prom dresses; by nurturing interests, we create meaningful educational relationships that inspire the imagination, rekindle enthusiasm, and re-engage learning.  We believe in intuitive learning—students gaining knowledge and skills without even realizing they've been taught!

Face to Face or Online?

We provide personalised face-to-face lessons at convenient locations such as schools, libraries, or even coffee shops across BCP, Dorset, and Hampshire. if a pupil has Issues causing them anxiety when ever they think about leaving the house; we can provide 1 to 1  learning at their home and have a team of undergraduate tutors proving stimulating online lessons if preferred.

Student Mentors

Our Student Mentors are typically 18-21 years of age and are undergraduates or college students (Most studying at Bournemouth University). They have less teaching experience and that is reflected in their cheaper fee. They are however,  very close in age to the pupils they are teaching, as It wasn't that long ago that they studied the same subjects themselves and often a special rapport is established quite early on even with difficult to place pupils.

                  Or                                            Qualified Teachers?

Our Qualified Teachers are approachable mature adults that have decades of teaching experience behind them; they know what works and what doesn't and have been round the teaching 'block' a few times. They have the finger on the pulse and are trained to raise attainment and get results. We have specialist SEN Maths, English and Science teachers waiting to support pupils across the South of England.

Teachers and Mentors are DBS checked, rigorously vetted at interview and have had their academic qualifications verified. Before commencing a placement, they have had child protection and P.A.C.E. tutor training.
